Wish Dress Neckline

This is a close-up view of one of my versions of the "Wish" dress from ALW Phantom of the Opera. When I made this dress there where very few detailed photographs available and even fewer that didn't have actresses arms in the way...So I made do.

The dress was made from a printed chintz the front a light weight wool with silk ribbon embroidery. The buttons are antique glass and are just about the most beautiful button I have ever see.

I hope you enjoy...This dress is my nemesis. One day I might give a go at it again, no wait I'll have the one some one else makes and launders for me
